Moscow Mule

I was super lazy today…didn’t do much other than put up some curtains, make Moscow Mules and pick up a pizza for dinner…oops!

Moscow Mules have been our drink of choice since last summer. My husband tasted one at a bar and loved it. A few days later, wouldn’t you know it, a box shows up on the doorstep with copper mugs and then he asks (after buying the mugs of course) if I could make them.

These drinks are great for happy hour at home as well as a backyard party because they are so quick and easy to make, plus tasty. On top of that, the copper mugs and a mint sprig make for a nice presentation that looks like it took lots of effort.

Moscow Mule
makes 1 drink
Ice
1/4 cup chilled vodka
1 Tbsp lime juice
6 ozs ginger beer
1/4 of a lime, cut into a wedge
1 sprig of mint leaves

Fill copper mug with ice. Pour vodka, lime juice and ginger beer over ice, stir. Garnish with lime wedge and mint leaves.
